Drafts Reminder and AO3 Posting instructions

Oct 19, 2013 09:48

Just a reminder that drafts are due today! Remember, it doesn't have to be a final draft, so don't worry if you're not 100% done just yet. All we're looking for is that you're still interested in participating and have something to show for it. So you haven't already, please submit your work following the guidelines listed HERE, and then apply for a posting date using the form HERE. A schedule will be finalized and emails informing you of your assigned posting date will either be sent out on the 20th or 21st, depending if we have any late submissions. :)

As for those of you confused about posting to the collection AO3, not to fret! This is all you need to do:
1) On--or even before--your assigned posting date, head to 2013 Collection for Merlin Horror.
2) Hit the "Post to Collection" button (or you can just click this direct link)
3) Fill the form out like how you would normally would if submitting to AO3, but make sure not to remove "merlinhorror2013" from the section marked "Post to Collections / Challenges". Also, please do not add to any other collections or link any sequels/prequels until after the community is revealed.
4) Hit "Post Without Preview" (you can still go back and edit it if you realize you need to fix a mistake) and the collection will automatically mark your work as anonymous and unrevealed. It will be put into a queue, and then a mod will post the header you submitted earlier and a link to your work to the community.

If you do not have an AO3 account and want one, please let us know right away. If you do not wish to post to AO3 but rather have your work directly posted to this community, that's fine too! Let us know, and a mod will post your work here, and you will be able to post it elsewhere when the fest is over.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to let us know!
