Oh, that is brilliant! I love the whole thing (Uther crying over melodramatic minstrel tunes? Morgana's withered womb? Gwen weeping over the wrong color of ribbon? Gaius sighing semi-romantically over Uther? Arthur's increasingly put-upon exasperation? *dies laughing*), but I think my favorite bit is that even after Merlin knows what's going on, he's still jealous of other people's poetry attempts.

And Merlin had to still be jealous -- the story's basically sex-pollen fic with poetry instead of sex. No one's ever strong willed enough to overcome that kind of compulsion ;)
