Fic Search: Modern Merlin/Arthur FOUND
Hello,
I am looking for a modern au fic that starts as Arthur protecting Merlin from an abusive ex, possibly because Merlin was leaving the ex and some one called Arthur as back up, but I am not sure on that part. They don't know each other at first, for sure. It may be a 5 and 1 or not but Arthur saving Merlin is the theme and he becomes Merlin's Knight in shining armor through random run ins where Arthur helps Merlin. They get together along the way. I think there is a scene where there is a costume party and Arthur actually dresses up as a knight and he ends up getting stabbed. I am fairly certain Merlin is dressed as a wizard.
