Merthur Specific Fic Search
I was like 99% sure I had this bookmarked, but, alas...
Hunith is Arthur's governess and moves in with Pendragons. When she's pregnant she sees a Merlin (bird) and names her son after him. Arthur is 3-4 yrs older and calls Merlin "Merlin Bird". They grow up together, Uther is a good guy. Arthur and Merlin fall in love as kids and share a kiss (I think), but Arthur's already 18 and Merlin's 14. So Arthur go away for a few years. He comes back when Merlin is 18... and there's happily ever after. Merlin's a bit sheltered (and simple, i think) and there is no angst/objection except by Arthur himself, and only coz Merlin's underage.
