Is Alive!!
According to LJ, I havent updated in 22 weeks. This might actually be my first update this year. Or second or something.
Life is interesting lately, I am making a point to actually try new things.
I do still go to a zillion burlesque shows but I don't seem to go to the big ticket ones as much as I used too. Frankly because I cant afford it. Ha.
I have also come to the conclusion that I am never going to find a date a burlesque show. Not that I was really looking for one at those shows, but still. Life isnt all about the boobies... surprisingly enough.
I have been trying to date though. I met this cute girl at Cafe Deux Soliel, totally thought she liked me too and when we went for coffee the first conversation we have is how the guy she likes is being a jerk. Seriously? Seriously?
I went to a Hershe the day before Canada Day and met another cool girl, chickened out of gettinga phone number, found her on Facebook by chance and asked her for coffee. She says yes to coffee but isnt looking to date. That's still cool.
At least I am trying.
In other news I have taken to going to Monday poetry slams, not so much for the poetry as for the performance of the poetry. I think it's cool. I sit at a big table with cool people I know who get up and say cool stuff.
This new thing has sort of grown an offspring, called Thursday Frisbee, around all sorts of parks in Vancouver.
I still work at a movie theater, which is currently showing depressing french movies all summer. They all look depressing, and its actually busy. We the staff, arent sure what to think of this.
I have decided I want a bike.
And I want to learn how to play bass guitar and possibly piano.
And I like that I can walk around this summer.
