Anon or Not Anon?
Of course there are pros and cons to both types of fests!
Yes, non-anon fests can open up lots of options and freedoms for artists and I know that most artists find it hard to be truly anonymous. However, one of my favorite things about an anonymous fest is the option to have a guessing game at the end of the fest! (See here or here for examples!) Then you can see just how obvious you really are! ;D
And for prompting! Artists, do you want to know whose prompt you are creating for? Or would you rather take the prompts as a free for all inspiration without knowing who left them?
