Posting Starts Soon!
Yes, the first post of the 2014 merlin_art_fest is coming in just a couple of short hours! I just need to share a few reminders and notes before we get started!
Fest update and stats:
Thank you to everyone who has submitted art for the fest! We have so many fabulous things to share! I can't even tell you how excited I am about the talented artists in our fandom! ♥
Our plan is to post two or three submissions each day through mid-April.
To date, we have over 40 fabulous submissions, representing a myriad of different styles, mediums, genres, eras, and ratings!
Our most popular pairing overall has been ♥Merlin/Arthur♥ but we have also received other characters and pairings that we are happy to see represented as well!
We currently have 8 extensions still outstanding and we are very much looking forward to plugging them into our posting schedule as they are received! We were lucky to have minimal dropouts and/or participants that lost contact with us.
A note to our artists:
Artists, while this is not an anonymous fest, we do ask that you please adhere to the fest exclusivity period and not post your art elsewhere until after the fest is over and the masterlist of art is posted. You are of course welcome to reply to your comments as soon as possible, but we ask that you please wait to crosspost your artwork to your personal blogs or DeviantArt pages until after the fest has ended. Thank you so much for your consideration in this! ♥
