A bead of sweat runs between Merlin’s shoulder blades, before being caught by Arthur’s tongue. The blazing sun and heat of this long summer day have overcome constraints of etiquette and duty, leading the boys to a corner of a field of wheat, sheltered from view by hedges.
Naked rutting, panting, sweating, groaning. They spend the afternoon locked together, two as one, before climaxing together and falling asleep.
Arthur wakes first, dressing quickly, before mounting his horse. “My love?”, asks Merlin, still drowsy.
“Your lord” comes the cold reply.
The moment has passed, but there will be other summer days.
