Skating
Did anyone else spend as much time as I did at the skating rink in middle school? It was the place to go when I was eleven and twelve. I went like once a week, the way I go to Midnight Rodeo now. It was set: Friday night I went to the rink. Embassy Skate, actually.
Anyone remember the couples skates? Out of every time I went (there were about two couples skates per night), I think I was on the floor for ONE couples skate throughout my entire skating career. I was a loser.
I did have my first kiss at a skating rink though. Classic. She was a year older than me (I was in sixth, kissing a seventh grader). This was sufficient to classify me a baller. Times were easier back then.
