Ikutsuki is a naughty boy and Elizabeth is a naughty girl!
It certainly took me a while before I got seriously moving on Persona again. Distractions always abound, but I want to finish this little lady off again now!
11/3 - It's time for Ikutsuki to bring his real intentions to the fight. This is definitely the pseudo-ending for the game when you feel like eliminating all the shadows will end something. It certainly does end something, but not what you'd expect!
11/4 - It's funny how bizarre and anti-climatic the end of the shadows seems. You know for certain something is wrong the moment pharos appears. Now today is a day when you find out what Ikutsuki was really after. The dorky old geek with terrible jokes is really the true antagonist in the entire storyline. Even death and the end boss aren't truly enemies as much something trapped in premonition. I feel like this was the first ending for the real enemy, and the 2nd ending is an ending for the protaganists.
11/9 - Whee! Another elizabeth date. As usual she's completely clueless about practical reality, but her english voice is awesome and her dates are always amusing. The best part had to be running and high jumping elizabeth!
11/15 - Whee a week of Yukari dating. I saw her every single possible day this week and now she'll be wuvving it up tomorrow. Totally the power of pink attitude here. Now there's a new Fes thing, encouraging Junpei to keep seeing Chidori. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out later.
11/19 - Ah the insanity of the hot springs episode... where Mitsuru will give her smexy executions. Supposedly it's her casting Bufudyne on everyone, which would certainly be uncomfortable. The best part has to be when Junpei pulls Ryoji down into the water face down and you can leave him in that state floundering for hours on the conversation bubble. Infinite drowning ftw!
11/21 - Another boss down and now my party is completely immune to lightning attacks. I got thor's heart item twice and realized it was a lovely lightning null toy. Now Aigis and Yukari will never have to worry again!
11/22 - Whoa, I forgot the junpei x chidori event happens here. And it really does tug at the heartstrings. It still doesn't fully work for me, but it certainly does work on some levels. Can't stop from enjoying love and sacrifice moments though when they seem real.
11/27 - Whee, Death #14...and all because my party couldn't survive. I was basically 98% immune to the statis giants, but the 3 of them kept doing area effect massacre on all other party members. This led to basically a complete stalement that could have gone on for hours. Suicidal revival attempts were the only way! and they were definitely suicide. Crits + 100-200 damage per hit = very bad for party. So I look like I'm on pace for around 20 deaths, not too bad for a crazy hard mode. Time to grind up to Lv63...mainly to power up my party members.
So an update on slinks, mitsuru is finally dating and she'll be my final girl before Aigis. In terms of everyone else, I finished Mr haughty emperor and the lovely Yukari. This leaves me with Fortune and Temperance at 7 and my one lovely empress lady in school. The rest are my outside school activities with Star, Moon, and Sun. Otherwise everything else is Max! Whee!
Whew! Second attempt on Stasis Giants successful! This was the first enemy I needed to majorly tailor all my eq as well as party for the fight. Massive hoardes of anti-slash protection = win!
And yay, one of my favorites personas by far, Alice! Not only is she cute and ebil, but she does a lovely ultimate murder spell.
11/29 - Whoa, death by triple heat wave crits on 201 boss. Uh, definitely something that just surprised me. That makes it 15 even.
To make things more extreme, my second attempt involved the boss doing zero damage, my hero doing 2000 damage in one non-boosted attack(scary this could have been 4k with a power boost) and all of them dead after only 7 hits. Amazing how swingy this game is. It truly depends a lot on what action is taken and whether crits or weaknesses are involved. Ah well, all you can do is be viligant...I shall be more careful with each remaining foe.
12/1 - Whee, rocked the world of the dice boss. Now I'm done and don't have much Tartarus hunting to really do until January. Nice to lower the pressure there. Now on to the big 2 months. I feel like the Commus will definitely be complete by the end now. Everything is nicely tieing together.
12/2 - And Ryoji is finally revealed to be exactly who we thought he was. Aigis shows she's not quite up to the task of killing Death incarnate. It seems like the movie sequence was longer than in the original. I think this is where you finally take things really seriously. Even in reality, it's a damn tough topic to think about.
12/6 - And it's study period again. All I have left for school are Empress Lv3, Temperance Lv8, and Fortune Lv8. Now it's time for mad hangout with our Star athlete. He's got some really good personas too.
12/7 - Whoa, I think Elizabeth just made a bootay call with me as a request o_O. Too bad it didn't get more explicit, but the concept itself is so much win!
12/20 - Well finals are finally over. That just made the days go by fast. Down to only 11 days before the fateful decision. In the meantime, Star is now at lv8 and Sun is lv9. Mitsuru gets 100% of my attention, while the rest are boy diversions.
One of the worst things is keeping all the personas I want now. There's so many I really like. My main group are Daisoujou, Melchizedek, Odin, Alice, Scathach. Then I need a bunch of persona to match my socials. Empress, Star, Moon were all a major pain in the ass to get earlier. Now I'll keep them until I'm finally done. At night I've finally been using the game center to power up a persona. I figure it'll be cool to have one with uber-high stats.
12/22 - That was an amusing lunch chain, 4 people in a row ask me to go out. Only one matters though...Mitsuru!
12/30 - Rampaging through Star and Moon while school is out and I just finished Sun last Sunday. Hmm, looks like it'll be really really close on whether I make it with full socials or not. This will be a fun little challenge for the last month.
12/31 - And Ryoji's day is here! Time to leave him alone so we can continue our fight for humanity and life! Onward to the finale month of P3: FES!
