What Bumps and Grinds in the Night

Last night was definitely a new experience for me. I went to see Nine Inch Nails for the 2nd time in about a month since they happened to be coming somewhere local again. I went with this one friend from high school and we were supposed to take his co-worker and husband, however they had gone awol that entire day. So we picked up another person who happened to actually be around. Sadly one ticket went to waste. After those issues, we ended up in Santa Cruz for the concert about an hour after it had started. Nin had only started their set a little while ago and we wandered into the moderately sized auditorium. They were playing Love is not enough at the time. We wandered into the back of the crowd since it was General admission, but after the first song ended, we wandered up basically near the front and ended up moshing for like an hour and a half straight. My first time way up in the front stuck between an insane crowd of bodies. It was definitely a kind of harrowing experience, but the energy was very intense and addictive. I think we ended up about 15 feet away from Trent. The concert let out about an hour before my birthday, of which it's time for sushi tonight! I still can't believe how many years have passed by already...It definitely disturbs me to think about it.
