Wolfman vs. Minotaur!

We've got a WEEKEND MOVIE MEET coming up this Sunday!
Not one, but TWO potentially kickass films are hitting theaters this week, and we'd be remiss to not take advantage of the balmy Long Island weather by sitting in a darkened theater for a couple of hours!
Those two films are none other than:
THE WOLFMAN, remake of a truly classic film, starring the great Benecio del Toro and Anthony Hopkins. A film with bite!
THE LIGHTNING THIEF, first in the mythologically-based "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" series! Greek mythology in the modern world, complete with Uma Thurman as one of my all-time favorite mythological critters.
Both are playing in or near Rockville Centre.
There also happens to be a nice little bar named Croxley's down the block from the theater hosting the Wolfman, which has 20-cent chicken wings all day Sunday and a kickass brunch menu with bottomless drinks - or if anyone from the under-21 crowd would like to hit the movie, possibly the best damn diner on Long Island, the Golden Reef, is only a couple of blocks away!
At the moment, the plan is to try to catch a showing of one of these fine movies on Sunday afternoon, after having a festive brunch with whoever can make it at one of the aforementioned restaurants.
Anybody up for it?
