More hero stuff!

Doctor Rocket (inspired by a character who never existed in the Marvel Universe...if you read She-Hulk, you know what I mean)

Jackson Chamberlain is a literal rocket scientist. With degrees in physics, chemistry, aeronautics and mechanical and electrical engineering, he is a well-educated and well-respected man in all his fields of study; however, a childhood dream of his was to be a costumed vigilante, so when he went off on a tangent from an aircraft design project and wound up with a low-fuel, reasonably affordable rocket pack, there was only one thought in his mind.

Chamberlain quickly devised a suit of light, warm body armor and re-built twin plasma pistols from discarded military project, and took to the skies as Doctor Rocket! After helping to defeat a rampaging giant robot unleashed by the Iron Contessa, he helped to draft the Vigilante Registration Act and is now a part-time licensed hero, though his work consumes most of his time. Still, the distinctive golden contrail he leaves is a common sight in the skies above Chicago, where he lives, his research largely funded by grants from KnightCo, as well as royalties from Chamberlain's own patents.

His costume consists of gold-tinted goggles integrated into a sleek burgundy helmet, two bronze-encased fusion pistols (his own design; they resemble large revolvers, but with no apparent moving parts), sleek maroon fire-retardant armor with gold highlights, and of course, his signature rocket pack, which has been integrated into his uniform. On his chest and the back of his rocket pack, a large fiery "R" is emblazoned, and a short jacket is integrated into the uniform to provide storage space and holsters for the pistols.

Just in case, he also has designed a high-altitude breathing apparatus and his suit and gloves are well-insulated, both from heat and electricity; however, he keeps the gloves and apparatus stashed inside of his jacket for the most part.

original characters, superheroes!
