I want my player back!
I just got an email from the reclamation office of the company where I bought my MP3 player and they say that it's completely kaput and now I can either get my money back or buy something else from them with it. I won't be able to get the same again for that price, because it was a used one (which is why it broke twice, argh), but it had 40GB of capacity and could be used as a portable data storage and played almost every format and generally rocked. Maybe I can get my mum to buy me a new one for christmas or something, though I really need one by now, it's not even funny how many CD-Rs I'm waisting by burning podcasts to which I only listen once on my Portable CD Player. I guess I'll have to hunt around on amazon and ebay. I hate shopping for technical equipment, there's so much to consider. Bah. Rant over.
