ASCII cuddles
So amid all the awesomeness of this weekend (which consisted of a night out with the girls for games, booze, and larp chatter) somewhere along the way I remembered to do another update over at the quill. Gotta get all these Festival of the Dead entries done so I can move on to revel entries!
It feels really weird to be posting journal notes for things which we already learned more details on at subsequent events.Makes me feel like I'm looking back in time even though it was only like what, 2 events ago?
Meanwhile in other corners of the interwebz, I was reminded by my own submission to do a good deed... I encourage people to email a hello, comment, or a thank you to the owners over at CollabNarration! It's a simple thing but I'm sure it will make their day ^^ (there's an email address where you can contact them directly for thank you notes/digital hugs)
One of the things I enjoy so much about CollabNarration - especially as a newer player - is reading through all the visitor messages. The topics are great, but it also feels like I've learned a lot from those cool/deep discussions people have down in the comments... sharing experiences, brainstorming, etc. It's sometimes too easy for me to slip into a "lurker" mode where I'm not necessarily giving feedback of any type but am still reading all the topics faithfully. In light of my lurking, I figured it'd be a good thing to take a moment and give a little ascii cuddle and drive some more visitor traffic that way! /hugs
