(no subject)
Well, I have been absent for some time. The original plan was to change to dreamwidth, too, but heck, I did not get round to do it yet, life's too busy, and since I have been asked how I am doing *waves to filkferengi*, and because it feels good to verbalize good things, I am back :-)
Today was a wonderful day. I got an important thing done today which I have worked on a lot and that makes coming home and knowing that tomorrow is a holiday even better! And I am reading Star Trek again. I tried some of the new book serieses but did not get hooked, they somehow lacked the Star-Trek-feeling for me. But this one feels like Star Trek again. It is the first Star Trek novel which has been originally written in German (Star Trek Prometheus) and I enjoy it a lot. And somehow it makes me feel so - fresh and inspired.
So, three good things a day
- lunch with my friend M., laughs and talks and sitting ouside with yummy food, what can be better?
- coming home at a reasonable time, finding time to read and enjoy the sun in our yard
- a new filk song!! S. is currently learning a new song on guitar from Element of Crime, and tonight, after a barbecue in the garden, Juri had the idea for the first line to convert the song in a Doctor Who song. So we wrote the whole song, all 4 of us, and I love it!! Indeed, a musical evening, afterwards I had my piano lesson and for the first time accompanied myself with the piano, singing "Downeaster Alexa" by Billy Joel. Great fun!! It really feels good to feel so inspired :-)
Tomorrow is off (Yay!) and then there is DFDF, so yay to the week ahead!
