The limbo of parties.

I went to yet another of my two parties tonight. I've been to other parties before but I don't really count high school parties as anything. Now that I think of it, the two recent parties were high school-esque. oh well, it's sort of different. people are more outgoing than they were in high school. it's easier to make friends and get into interesting conversations. there's always a surprise around the corner. Tonight's surprise consisted of three factors. First, it was a birthday party for Catherine. I met Catherine a couple of nights ago at Geo's party. What I didn't know was I'd already met her on a previous occassion, and I had forgotten...typical me. Who was Catherine? The two next factors explained all. Who did I see follow her into the room but a Jason and a Michael. Two old friends! I nearly had a heart attack. I was concerned with Jason recently and it was great to catch up with him. He's looking for a job and was actually interested when I mentioned he could work in the downtown historic district as a tour guide. I hope he does. He's a swell guy. Michael's still a lady charmer. Sly dog. I'll never give in but I can't help but be flattered by his flirtations. Sly dog. Watch out for those sly ones, ladies. Regardless, it was a hoot seeing them again and I had a great time at the party. It's nice to know I have a larger circle of friends than I give myself credit for. I hope I can continue hanging out with good friends. Brina, Jess, and Geo were awesome. My amigos. They've really made me feel a part of their closeknit group.

Anyway, I gotta hit the hay. Be on top of my game tomorrow. peace.
