FFFRREEEEZZINNNGG!!
K, who left the freezer door open? Sunday and today Denver broke record lows...global warming? Where? Can I go there? ;) There was something like a 60 degree drop in temperature from Saturday's high of to the low Sunday. Guh!
While we only got oh, 3 inches of snow...it isn't melting. Now I know it's not as cold as some places, but here...sorry, -17F with a wind chill of -35 is just a tad too cold for me. I have ice on the INSIDE of my windows and sliding glass door. Currently only -1F. *shiver*
The buses in three separate school districts wouldn't start this morning, leaving the TV and radio people to put out this pathetic plea asking the parents to somehow find a way to get their kids to school. Heck, even though Littleton Public Schools had buses working my hubby still took my Middle Schoolers today. The Middle School doesn't let them in until 7:45 and the bus arrives at 7:30. Not right.
Needless to say youngest son had 'indoor recess'!
So anyone further East of Denver, if you don't already know...this one is cold. And there's more snow behind it...it's due tomorrow. Find your gloves and hats etc. Looks like a White Christmas, if only because it's too cold to melt! :o Here's beaming down blankets and working heaters to everyone. :)
