A wonderful, long chapter, filled with so many changes in the lives of the five. Seems like Duo is turning a corner, but I can definitely understand Heero's reluctance to go back to the way things were, needing to protect himself. I'm looking forward to their delayed talk, as Trowa suggested and hopefully some explanation from Duo about his behavior. Lovely update, well worth the wait.

oh yes, protecting your heart from potential heartache is a very natural thing, even if you want to move forward, the possibility of more pain will hold a person in place.

mmm, there will be explanations, but i don't think there's much of them planned for part 4.

actually, the outline for this part had heero doing so much more, but i got wordy again, and cut out a few of the extra things he was supposed to do. *sigh* god, i can only imagine how long it would have taken had i included the extra stuff.
