oh my god. My heart was in my throat the entire time I was reading. T_T poor heero, I really hurt for him. Darn, I need to read fluff to get over this.

Great job as always! :D looking forward to the next part!

*hugs you*

better days, really. part 3 is titled, man in motion (st elmo's fire), and it is about heero gaining perspective.

oh no!! *takes the shovel away* duo... has problems too. just because we see this being played out from heero's pov, doesn't mean there isn't something else going on. :(

but yeah, i'm familiar with the pain(s) heero is experiencing, and knew what i had to do... even though i hated it.

hee!! actually, the idea i had for man in motion is one i've been toying with for a couple of years (or more) now. i wanted to write something where heero breaks out of the mold he'd been put into, and finds his own worth, his own way to something better. it seemed to fit this part of this story, so i had to run with it!

love you, hon.

Heartbreaking, but oh so wonderful, too. You've described Heero's pain so well, and I'm finding myself wondering at his patience with Duo. Yes, he loves him, but Duo is making it very hard for Heero to retain those feelings with his callous disregard for his feelings. He really couldn't do a better job of pushing Heero away. Hope to see more of this angst-filled story soon and learning about why everyone knows that Duo's unstable. Again, excellent story.

but, is duo really pushing heero away or keeping himself from heero?

uh... i just wrote all out this stuff, chatting about what i had in mind for the story and giving hints about duo and heero, and what's behind their actions. decided to not give it all away, though. if when the story is finished, and it's still not clear, i'll write it out. ;)

thank you for reading! because, even though i like to read angst, i really have a hard time writing it. so when something angsty i write turns out well, it just makes me very happy.

I know it's sort of bad of me- but I'm glad Heero's leaving. Not only for the perspective it might give Duo, but because it's better for Heero. I hope things get much better for him.

and, like the old adage (or was it a song lyric) says, you don't know what you've got til it's gone.

duo's been spending an awful lot of time thinking about his own self, and having to think of someone else now, might be the wake up call that boy needs.

and yes, heero needed the distance, for perspective and his sanity.

thanks for reading, meru!
