Good foot/leg news..finally!
I should have posted this yesterday..but I forgot. :)
So the cast on Friday was just a precaution, until I had my appointment with the orthopedic specialist. I saw him yesterday morning (and wow...HOT!). Anyway, ahem, back to my leg. The cast is OFF!!!! For the next 2 weeks, I am allowed to walk on it (using the air cast) and then I can return to regular shoes (using crutches to help with balance). I met with a physiotherapist yesterday and he gave me some exercises to get started. I have a physio appointment on May 18th and I'll get started on some strengthening exercises. The doctor told me that I should be able to return to work in about a month, and running (albeit slowly and carefully) in about 2 months. YAY!!!!!!
