So Algonquin has released their Spring schedule...and they've got this awesome course:
Cuisine, Culture and the Global Village: Explore the globe in this interactive introduction to food history and world cuisine which has played a critical and defining part in individual cultures and the overall development of civilization. It is a 10 week practical course presented in an engaging, informative, and amazing story of the interaction among history, culture, and food that draws connections between historical events and how and why these events affected and defined the culinary traditions of different societies.
Over the 10 weeks, the following cuisines will be taught: Aboriginal, Algerian, Russian, Saudi Arabian, Swedish, Brazil, Mexico, Pakistan, South Africa and Vietnam.
I am totally signing up for the course. :)
