Members come from a wide range of ideological backgrounds, including former members of the Liberal Party, the Australian Labor Party, and The Greens.

Against: population growth, high consumption, the Trans Tasman Travel Arrangement, selection of immigrants based on race or religion, racism, asylum seekers needing to take dangerous boat journeys, overpopulation, overdevelopment
