[Shirley is slowly backing away from what appears to be an ogre.] Um... um... n-nice boy... I won't hurt you. Really, I... um... please just don't come after me. Ple- ahh!
[And she jumps back as the ogre swipes at her, falling on her behind, and wincing.] P-please stay away...! I don't want to fight you...
[Clearly, the ogre doesn't want to listen and it advances on her while she scrambles back - and she's surprisingly quick, considering the sort of dress she's in.] Oh... oh, just go away!
[She swipes a quill through the air, as though expecting something, and is visibly shaken when absolutely nothing happens.] Wh-what...? Where is my... [She holds a hand over her heart.] No wonder it felt so strange. Ah! [And back she scrambles again because the ogre clearly wasn't deterred by her whole lot of nothing.]

Foul sinner who has lost sight of the bounds of the waters and the heavens, I shall meet out the punishment for thy transgression. Begone! [And this is how the puny little girl manages to knock the ogre off of its feet as circular beams come up from the ground under it. It's not down for long, though, but it's just enough time for Shirley to get some more distance between herself and the ogre. Though that might not be enough to save her from the mess she's in.]
