So yesterday we bought the crib from Sears. It's a Delta Jenny Lind crib. It was on sale and we bought it pretty cheap. As I've said before, I aim to be practical about outfitting the nursery with furniture. We had my mom check it out before we bought it and also consulted Consumer Reports. Next week we need to put it together since the box wasn't in great shape and we need to make sure that all the pieces are there. We have 3 more pieces of furniture to buy: a dresser that converts to a changing table (I think buying a separate changing table is rather a waste of space and what do you do with it when you child grows out of it?), a chest of drawers and a glider (similar to a rocking chair to the uninformed). This is all pretty exciting, but scary at the same time. Imagine me, as a parent! Thank goodness therapy is covered partially by our health insurance!
