How Come? - Brown Eyed Girls (KoyamaxTegoshi)
Author’s notes: I WROTE AN ANGST, I WROTE AN ANGST! OH MY G-DRAGON I DID! LOLOLOL. I guess looping this really helped. It now has 220 plays in my Itunes today. Yesterday it was 150 plays. Haha. Tegoshi is slight OC, because I really know, deep down, he likes to go after girls. He just doesn’t look like it. Or maybe he’s a bi? You never know. HAHAHA.
Tegoshi would always keep looking at Koyama from afar. Every time he sees him, his heart leaps like crazy. He never thought he’d have any feelings aside from friendship for that person who always keep NEWS bonded like pieces of gum stuck to a shoe. Why must he feel this way? There are so many girls in the world, yet he decided to set his gaze for a boy that he will never have for himself.
He’d always get envious of Shige, who can spend every waking moment with Koyama. Tegoshi knows that they only share closeness a little bit different from the others. Tegoshi knows that it’s probably something that both of them would deny yet it clearly shows every time Tegoshi sees them. It pains him so every time he realizes that.
It was afternoon during a NEWS PV filming that Tegoshi decided to confess his feelings to Koyama once and for all. He approached Koyama; who was busily sharing jokes with Shige and Massu.
“Ne, Kei-chan?” Tegoshi put on his puppy-eyed look every time he asks Koyama a favor. “Can I talk to you for a moment?”
“Sure, no problem!” Koyama said; not moving from his seat. He must have expected Tegoshi to talk about in front of Shige and Massu too. Of course, Tegoshi can’t do that.
“Can we just go over there for a moment?” Tegoshi persisted. “It’s really private. Can’t tell it in front of Shige and Massu.” He winked to the two guys who were looking at him curiously.
Kei-chan nodded and he just followed Tegoshi just as he wished to. But when they were now alone together, Tegoshi’s mind suddenly went blank. He glanced up, and saw Koyama’s expectant face. He just couldn’t say it.
“You’re gonna say something, Tegoshi?” Koyama asked. He smiled, which reassured Tegoshi. He plunged on.
“I…I like you, Kei-chan.” There, he said it. He put on his sunny smile, hoping to see that Koyama took it well.
Koyama, on the other hand, gave him a strange look, as if he was trying hard to process Tegoshi’s revelation. Then he laughed out loud, much to Tegoshi’s disappointment.
“Of course, you like me!” Koyama said good-naturedly. “You like me to the point of always nagging me for favors!” Yamashita passed by to see what’s going with both of them.
“He was just telling me how much he likes me.” Koyama said with a wide grin to Yamashita. “Isn’t it hilarious? I thought Tegoshi only wanted to ask another favor.” Yamashita only grinned, yet he said nothing. Then the director called all them for another take. Koyama gave Tegoshi another amused smile, gave Yamashita a nookie then dragged him on their way to join Massu, Shige and Ryo in the set.
Tegoshi stared after them. Deep down, he felt so humiliated and saddened at the same time. How come Koyama wouldn’t understand? How come he’ll keep torturing him like this? How come he was such a fool like this? How come he ended up like this? Pushing those thoughts away, Tegoshi put on a smile then he sauntered over to his bandmates. No one would ever know that it was a smile marked with pain and sadness.
