Fried bananas are AWESOME, so SO EASY TO MAKE! God, I love cooking. They taste amazing with honey. I'm a much better cook now (as long as Marlo is not within a 20 ft radius of me).
So here's what I did if anyone else wants to make these.
Ingredients
1 large banana
2 spoonfuls flour
splash of milk
honey
canola oil (or whatever oil is handy)
Recipe (rough)
Take the banana, peel and slice into little ovals. Put these in the freezer for 15 minutes or so. Take them out, roll them in the flour in a small bowl. Take the floured slices and put them on paper towel on a plate, then add some milk into the remaining flour and stir well.
Put oil in the frying pan so it covers the bottom, then heat it to medium high heat until it is hot enough to fry (I guessed). Take a floured slice, dip it in the flour-milk mix and then carefully drop in pan. Fry, turning often. These slices cook very fast. Take them out when they are golden brown on both sides. I used chopsticks to flip them and remove from pan.
Pat with paper towel to get rid of oil on fried slices, and serve with honey drizzled on top.
I love turning healthy things into monstrosities.
Also, I've lost 6 pounds. Abuh? :D
