OBS
Hm, I've attempted to start an entry about OBS about three times now and have lost the motivation to do any form of narrative or reflective prose each time. Nevertheless it is worth mentioning that I had a really great watch and a really fun time doing all sorts of outdoor stuff which my parents would have cringed at had they been there to witness it. In particular they'd have admonished everyone for sharing 4 pairs of forks and spoons among 12 people.
Congrats to the girls for earning yourselves nicknames xD, especially Brownie: packing extraordinaire! Cutter sailing was certainly a highlight and I pretty much enjoyed the storm, as weird as that sounds. Being wet and cold is still better than being sun-baked imo. Many thanks to my group members for being ever so patient with this mildly physically handicapped teammate, and especially to xh and tiff for always checking up on me.
Totally bummed out the whole weekend doing nothing but watching movies, sleeping, reading fanfic and singing along to my playlist, but the new week brings more DSTA orietation stuffage, starting with the ever-dreaded SHATEC. As if we didn't get enough of it in sec school... but this time they have to throw in cooking as well! Ugh. Rehearsals should be somewhat fun though, can't wait to see what the groups come up with, and hopefully find a way to link everything smoothly.
Would really like to go back to DSO though! My experiments have been sitting in the fumehood doing nothing the past two weeks... aggregating and disintegrating and disappearing =(. Can't believe there's so much to be done beofre uni that I basically haven't started on anything yet.
