G and I are planning to attend " Colloquium 2006: Revolution in Cosmology" in October, so I am starting on the recommended reading. Wish me luck (fortunately, G has a Ph.D. in Astrophysical Sciences and is quite good at making explanations understandable to a person with a B.A. in Linguistics).
