Movies I've Watched - 2009
Last post for 2009!
32. Avatar: Beautiful!
31. The Santa Clause: Silly, but fun at Christmastime.
30. Up: Better than expected.
29. Wall-E: Pretty good - a bit over-hyped, IMO.
28. Monsters, Inc.: Truly funny.
27. Star Trek: Well, I've seen this in a first-run theater, a second-run theater, an IMAX theater, and at home on my HDTV -- and it is awesome everywhere.
26. I, Robot: Awesome. Somehow, I've become a fan of Will Smith. Weird -- I did not expect that.
25. Duplicity: Well, I'm going to have to watch this one again -- I guess that's good. :-|
24. Clueless: Hmmm -- a new classic? Really?
23. Stargate Continuum: This one was actually quite good. Phew! 10 seasons, 3 movies -- finally done!
22. Stargate The Ark of Truth: Thanks for tying up a few loose threads.
21. LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring: Yes, it's good.
20. Stargate: No, it's not good.
19. Bend It Like Beckham: Fun! Nothing surprising, but a little look into Indian culture in Britain. The extra features are fun too.
18. Religulous: Worth watching; it would have been better if Bill Maher let the interviewees talk a bit more, instead of interrupting so quickly and frequently, but still worthwhile.
17. Red Dawn: Not bad, for the genre. Young Charlie Sheen is kinda cute.
16. Starbucking: Grows on you over the 90 minutes.
15. Krippendorf's Tribe: Predictable, but fun.
14. Star Wars (IV): I remain a Trekkie.
13. Bolt: Fun!
12. Ocean's Twelve: A favorite of capt_redleg's.
11. Persepolis: Very, very good.
10. Ocean's Eleven: A favorite of capt_redleg's.
9. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner: Still amazingly relevant.
8. Enchanted: Very, very good.
7. American Flyers: Lame.
6. Burn After Reading: Great!
5. Hudson Hawk: Better than the reviews claim.
4. Beyond the Sea: Interesting.
3. You Don't Mess With the Zohan: Inane, but actually sometimes LOLfunny.
2. Man on Wire: I don't get what everyone was so excited about about this.
