You're all probably wondering what's going on here, or where "here" is for that matter. Well, I don't know much more than you, to be honest, but what I do know I'll share. This is - or rather, was - the city of Meridian. There was a little...incident some years ago that lead to Meridian becoming the way you see it now. [She gestures as if to indicate the ruined city.] As to why you're here...I don't know how it happened, but I believe the city may wish to be restored to its former glory. [A brief pause.] I know it sounds a bit silly, but it's probably the truth.
I...don't know how to return you home. [She seems genuinely sad about this.] Surviving such a far reaching disaster doesn't automatically grant one such powers...If I could bring you home, I would, please believe me.
