[The changes this city brings are disturbingly sudden.
When Asato wakes up after a few days--to many days to his taste--of being a human, he finds he can stand again without trouble. His senses are back to normal, his eyesight keen and his hearing sharp. It's like coming out of a thick fog, changing from human back to ribika, and he couldn't be happier about it. After realizing that the afterlife as a human would either be terrible or would need something else that he can't even imagine in order to make it the incredible thing he's read about, he's glad, perhaps more so than he should be, to go back to his normal ribikan self, ominous black fur and all.
Overtaken with the feeling of freedom it brings, he's exploring the city now the way he feels he is meant to, running and jumping, climbing up trees and walls or anything else that he can get a good foothold on so long as he can once again enjoy having full control over his nimble body. If people eye him strangely for it, he isn't even bothered. He stops on a high rooftop close to the city's edge and feels the chilly wind rush over him from the wild spaces beyond, eyes closing as he lets out a sigh.
Oh, yes. This is good. He'll have to thank Sola if he sees her again.]
