An Update!
Hi everyone,
I'm sorry I've been MIA lately. Life here has been crazy. I don't know if you all remember that Superstorm Sandy damaged my house pretty badly and my family had to move out while it was being fixed. Well, the contractor we hired took a third of our money and hasn't done a thing to fix it. We ended up having to put the house up for sale because the insurance money is slowly disappearing because of our living expenses. FEMA stopped helping us in January. Now the contractor is refusing to give us back our money. I've been in touch with our county prosecutor and I'm waiting for charges to be filed. SO many contractors have already been arrested for taking advantage of Sandy victims. I also hired a lawyer who is going to sue the contractor and help us get his license pulled. It's been a difficult few months while all this was happening. With my mother's health bouncing between good and bad, it's just been a lot to handle.
On a lighter note, my ex-boyfriend came back into my life a few months ago and turned it upside down in a good way. We found a way to work through our problems and are back together...and better then we've ever been. Thank God for that. He's what has been keeping me sane through all the crap.
So, my lack of writing is not due to my desire to leave the fandom and my characters. I've just had a lot going on. The next chapter is almost done and I will get it up as soon as possible. I am going to ask for a little patience from you all though. For the immediate future, I'm going to post every other month until I get settled. We are going to be moving soon...hopefully...to a more accommodating location. I don't know how much time I'm going to have to write until we get settled. I will do my best...I always try for you because I appreciate everyone hanging in there with me and giving me a reason to do what I love. And as I said, the next chapter will be up soon...hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
