I think it is an understatement to say a lot has happened in the past two chapters. Just after I was enjoying the afterglow of the boys trip to NYC, I was shocked by Zac's call.
I must admit I really enjoyed all the wonder and joy the boys experienced on their trip. I wonder if seeing all that wealth will help Brian shape his future. I know it is David's way of life, but it was fun seeing his world through their eyes. I still find Matt and David to be the couple to watch.
I do not know how anyone can save the day for poor Zac. It seems that he was truly in the wrong place at the wrong time. It also seems he is going to be the held liable for everything. His call with Jason was gut-wrenching. It is amazing how much their lives have changed and been affected by the assault.
I think the biggest theme and overall message throughout this story is, friendship. You are doing a great job showing how everyone is there for the other through good times and bad.
Thanks for the double update Meredeth. I am happy to hear that life and family are improving. I hope more progress is made with the house. If anyone deserves to have a bit of good luck it is you. My best to you in the New Year!
