An update...
...well, they found colon cancer during my mother's colonoscopy, so they went in today and removed half her colon. The surgery went well and the surgeon was pleased. He figures her recovery time to be between five to seven days. Thank God. The poor thing has had a really rough week and I hate seeing her so miserable. I can't wait until she's back to her old self, bitching at me and telling me what to do...lol.
I'm going to try writing again tomorrow. I think I need the distraction. I actually wrote a few paragraphs in the last few days, but I haven't been home enough to really jump in. I've seen more than enough of that hospital for awhile.
