Just checking in...
Hi everyone,
Well, I'm two weeks in to the new job and I think I'm finally starting to get used to working for a living again. It was rough in the beginning, waking up early, driving 30 minutes to get there, being on my feet for 8 hours a day after 16 months of being bored at home...I've been exhausted everyday, coming home and fighting to stay awake until it was time to go to bed for the night. Don't worry though, as I settle in, the ideas are coming to me again. I spend my morning commute thinking about Brian, Justin, Chris, Zander, and the gang...lol. I'm well more than half way through the next chapter and I know what I need to write next. It's just a matter of finding a few hours to do it. I really wanted to spend today working on it, but instead I had to spend the day with my daughter. We were at a "Day in the Life" seminar at the college she's going to be going to in the fall, and then it was shopping for clothes for her to take on her Senior trip next month. She's going to Florida...her first time flying, while I'll be sitting here worrying about her. I hate flying. God, the older she gets, the more I worry.
I still have to pack my lunch for tomorrow, decide what I'm going to wear, and do some work that I brought home with me on Friday...and it's already 7:00 pm. I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm still around and working on my story. I'm hoping to have something up by the end of the week, although I believe Lois is away for a bit so it will probably be unedited. :-)
