Well, I was not adverse to seeing "Julie and Julia," but it was not high on my to-see list. Slow films, and it appeared to be a more lengthy film (was it?), can be very frustrating for me, so I prefer to see them at home where I can fast forward or what-not.

Hmm, my taste in movies is mainly tied to the characters, the plot and how satisfying the denoument was for me. I'll admit fairytales and fantasy are still highly favored, as are period dramas.

I cook several times a week. A few main meals, a dessert or two, and cookies or bread. I love cookies and breads, and am working on pies. Meals like Swedish meatballs or a pasta/ chicken combination are always good.

I do not totally disagree with Dorothy, but appreciating the style and ability some authors have possessed for wording ideas does not presuppose that the individual appreciating said quote does not think or think for oneself.
