My inner psychic is apparently confused. Having a full blown allergic reaction to something and spending the evening doped up on antihistamine/cough suppressants is not the same thing as having fun and consuming alcholic beverages. So, that'll wait until I'm not on other meds--mixing medicine with alcohol is not something I'm eager to try.
Well, at least watching the Bush administration and his neocon cronies dance on TV is entertaining. It's like a three ring circus, except that no one involved seems to understand that the subtitles they are waving at us to spin their words and actions one way or another is unneccessary. What they need to do is drop the captions, mute the sound and just play Khachaturian's Saber Dance instead. It's accurate enough and will require less clean up later.
Also, I mistakenly told everyone that we adopted a new kitten. Actually, we adopted a cute, talkative furry creature that uses said characteristics to lull silly humans into a false sense of security. It all started out as a neurotic,weird kitten thing (a Siamese kinda thing) where she was trying to nurse on toes, ankles, shirts, ear lobes and the like. But then she got hungry and needed blood or something. So, no cute little, calico, fungus-infested kitten. Cute, fuzzy, orange and black, fungus-infested vampire. Who plays fetch...
