I haven't posted in weeks.
About a month ago, my desktop crashed and burned, and then the power cord on my laptop stopped working the next day. That was a bad week for my technology. It took a week to fix the laptop. I pulled the HD on the desktop to try and get the data off it, but even forensics software wasn't working on it. It's dead, Jim.
I was mostly backed up, and what wasn't backed up, I could recreate, but I'm missing a couple of things. One of which is people's address' for the last couple of years. This mostly is people from RL running and such, but if you've given me your address, or a new address in the last couple of years, can you email it to me again. meri_oddities [at] yahoo [dot] com.
Con.txt was a lot fun this year. I've stepped down from the con comm because I just don't have the time to devote to it anymore. I do plan to be a con minion and work on the Art Show with and CJ for next time.
Other than that, work is crazy. I've been transferred to a new department, and while I wasn't crazy about how they did it, it looks like it's turning into a good thing for my career.
