I did it again!

I wasn't going to do it, really, I wasn't. But I was weak and I signed up for Snarry_Holidays. I was reading through the requests and saw a few that would be really fun to write. And of course, there were a few things I wanted to have written for me, too.

I'll also probably sign up for smutty_claus. I enjoyed writing for that one a lot last year. And it's fun to write het once in a while, too.

The reason I wasn't going to sign up for anything was that I have three fairly large stories in some state of almost done. I would like to finish them, but I've been writing in so many fest the last couple of years, I don't end up writing anything for just me anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I adore fests. And I miss merry_smutmas already. *sigh* I won't deny that I like having a large number of people read my stories, which they do on a fest com. And really, it gets me to write things I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

But if you look at my website, you'll see that nearly all of the stories I've posted in the last 2-3 years have been for fests or exchanges or challenges.

So, for the writers on my list who aren't at Terminus, what about you? Do you find that you're writing more and more for fests and less just to just say something? What about you readers? Do you feel like it's feast or famine with nothing coming out between the big fests.
