Prop 8
The radio this morning was saying that it's too close to call; there are quite a few absentee ballots still to count.
Unfortunately, it still looks to me like we will be enshrining exclusionary language in California's state constitution.
I'm happy about Obama's win last night. I'm sad that my state doesn't understand that it's never good to make someone a "them" and that it's okay to ban this, they're not us.
ETA: NPR was stating that there's still 2 million absentee ballots to count, and Prop 8 only has a 400,000 vote lead. We'll see. I'm not optimistic.
