The best thing about this time of year is that...

...yesterday was my half birthday, not that it's Valentine season.
Good little things always seem to happen on Feb 13th.

Asha and Mala came over (after much trouble directing Asha on and off I-35 over the phone...so Westlakean)
She also then did her sisterly duties of stealing my clothes and then refusing to give back previously stolen cheetah gloves.

Tyler and I went to Oklahoma this past weekend because his Grandfather died, but it was some good quality time...almost a 4 day weekend. We went to yoga on Sunday and that was really fun...I feel awesome afterwards. He is coming over tonight after my 3 hour class...so we can have a 10PM dinner somewheres.

Emily and I decided to eat pizza and then see a movie at Dobie last night...because we had too much work to do. (Perfect logic)

Carolyn and I chatted on the phone for a precious half hour...I kind of never got to say goodbye before she left. I think I saw her at New Years last...we should talk more.

Colin and I have a Spring Break trip to Florida planned. I am going to meet him and some of his Emory friends in Atlanta and then we are going to Tampa, camping for a night, and then Miami. So Awesome.

Connor, you should call me because I don't have your number and I would have liked to include you on this list of wonderful happenings.

It seems that Caitlin is her usually goofy happy self sending us all Valentine's from strange places in the world by email. (I really want more poetic stories about swaying beer though)

I have also ran into/hung out with a bunch of people that I don't see very often including the infamous David Hardy-- we should steal ice cream from Amy's more often.

Fatty no longer has flees. The benz is treating me good. And our house still rocks.

School is challenging but interesting this semester. I'm taking Abnormal Psy, European Empires in Asia (and get to learn about places I've lived which rocks), a "deep thinking" Gov class, and a seminar class on "Psychology and Religion in Modern American Culture"--which is 3 hours long every Tues. Also I am a research assistant in a psy lab--so yeah.

I haven't really had to talk to my parents about anything...no news is good news...and I guess that's as good as it gets for the most part.

So my point is pretty much that my half birthday brings all sorts of good vibes into my life (probaly not but let me think so).
