yay - its my last night in the nursery!
I leave for college tomorrow. Wow. It seems so surreal and so natural all at the same time. My emotions have been all over the place but no real tears. I will miss my sister and my friends but I know that I'm ready for a change. The last week has been a complete blur. You would have thought that I was leaving the country for a few years the way people are acting. I've had to say "bye" to so many people. I think that it mainly freaks them out that I'm old enough to go to college. I am so ready! Hanging out with my high school pals over the past few days made me realize how much I missed them this summer even when I pretended not to. It makes me happy to know that we will keep in touch and all have amazing experiences at school. So now I'm off to explore the new horizon of Winston-Salem. Its not out of the south but its out of the state!
