I've seen the first... four episodes, I think, with a friend from library school, and I did enjoy them very much, but it was really not the show that I see in gifsets on Tumblr all the time. just checking that you remember I am mono-ship with Eric and you are therefore actually getting top five Jeff/Eric fics... so long as you're good with that I'm happy to do it! :) pining will require more thought but the month is long.

Also, since I am writing figure skating Erica Staal... five figure skating recs? I haven't touched the fandom since that one OH GOD I KNOW THEM moment caused me to flail out, but maybe it's worth trying again in like... carefully-curated format.

(Ashley Wagner and Armin Mahbanoozadeh are probs the only deal-breakers you're likely to encounter... I've known Armin since he was 10, that is a giant NOPE NOPE NOPE.)

Can you not... combine them? I do sort of take Miss Johnny as a given in most skating rpf, but idk if I want to read a *ton* of Johnny-centric fic because... meh. Though I had a look at mosca's skating RPF and... I gotta say, Ben Agosto/Johnny Weir is not a thing I have ever in my life contemplated. Sell me on it.

oh, I mean, I'd probably include one or two fics featuring Johnny in the mosca round-up, it's just that she's the only author in skate fandom who writes about people OTHER than Johnny. \o/

totally second your praise of wldnst, great author, especially her inception fics. now, there's a suggestion for you: what about either female-centric or genderswapped inception fics or both?

also, i am a sucker for amnesia fic. maybe you can do a pan-fandom investigation of my favorite trope?

if nothing else, it's a good challenge to my ability to be consistent XDD

hmm, female-centric inception... I'll need to poke around a bit, but I think I can do that! I've only ever been on the fringes of that fandom, but I did see the movie, which puts my level of involvement a lot higher than most of the stuff I rec tbh.

lololol well I can think of two hockey fics that fit the bill for amnesia right off the bat... pan-fandom is a dangerous word with me! :P

oof. I always get hung up on what qualifies as a small fandom -- I guess I could let the experts take it out of my hands and do a Yuletide set? I've failed miserably at actually doing Yuletide recs the last few years.
