still emerging from post-holiday coma
hey guys! obviously failing at the whole "write things for Hanukkah" project, w/evs, I'll get it done. scout's honor! Christmas threw a major spanner in my cunning plan to celebrate my Jewish heritage, who would have imagined.
but, more important than my personal failings: yuletide happened! and I got not one but two awesome stories, which you should all read if you haven't yet! (and LEAVE FEEDBACK, don't think I haven't noticed the general slackness on this front since we moved to the AO3.) so. THANK YOU, SECRET (and, uh, not-so-secret, you know who you are) SANTAS! ♥

for my part, I managed to get three stories in before deadline, but they are all very, very obviously by me, so you get no bonus points for guessing before reveals go up. XD
let's see, what else. the footballslash holiday exchange has also gone live; I didn't participate myself except for a little beta-work on the side but I've glanced through and there's some lovely stuff to be found, if for some inexplicable reason you are short of things to read! and distira wrote me some SUPER ADORABLE snippets of Victor/Andres as genderswapped lacrosse players, which everybody should read for obvious reasons. SO ADORABLE, I CAN'T. I don't have enough for a proper recs update but that should keep you all in fic until then. (ETA: I am just rolling in the riches here! cuter than cute snippet of Alcantaras by dreamofthem for all our delectation. :D)
