It's been... almost 3 years since my last entry. Wow.

Mom is great. Stepdad great (now with bionic knee, much happier!). Dad is well but works too much and sleeps too little, and worries about my ever-frailer grandma. Stepmother is well, had spinal surgery to correct horrible sciatic issue, and is recovering well! Brother is well, though last year very much not. There was a months-long manic episode, and a lot of social/financial damage was done, but he's back on an even keel, working and having at least some fun while dealing with the extended fallout of losing his damn mind last year.
Calgary! You should have met with unhurt while she was biking through! Did you see she finally completed her epic trans-Canada cylce tour? I am still in the exact same apartment you left me in, lol, and happy for it... moving is for chumps :P . And you best come visit, yes! I have a couch with your name on it and a kitty I think you never met! (Bill! I do remember him. Awful that he is sick, I'm glad he's okay though!)
Yeah, I miss the olden days, too! But real life is treating me pretty well. I have friendly coworkers and lots of concerts and antiquing and all the happy-Meres things. :)
