1. Okay, okay. So the new Delicious team (single engineer?) has given us back the '/' in tags, the tag counts and pagination in tag view. Progress! I don't generally hold grudges long; I will forgive them their ham-handed unannounced site beta because they seem responsive and keen on
getting shit done. Diigo's apparently got moralizers for owners, and Pinboard, while welcoming, is a paid service and I already give enough of my measly stipend to support my fannish habit. It's the principle of the thing. The cheapwad principle.
2. Undergraduates. I shouldn't complain, because really they're pretty bright and the only cure for inexperience is the antonym, but oh maaaaaaaaan it's like herding (dim) cats who expect you to read their minds and answer questions they haven't even asked. Never has my 'drama! etc.' tag been so appropriate. Of course, I was one of them not so long ago. And it's not like I stopped being a failboat, I just fail at different things now!
3. We got a slight raise, woohoo! Of course, no one gets paid extra for TAing. Apparently I'm doing this out of the goodness of my heart.
4. Pursuant to payday, it is time to order pizza, because I just got home and have nothing to cook.
This post is so boring.
Here, have an adorable gif for your trouble. The caption decribes my state of mind, while the action, in the context in which Andrew did that, illustrates what I shall do to this pizza (i.e. NOM).
