Olympics wheeeeeeeeee!
I know there are serious issues, and people have serious reservations about the Olympics and everything they mean and what it takes to run them this way... but it's 30 minutes to the Ceremonies and I kind of can't think about any of that. I kind of love the whole ridiculous endeavour.
Take note, World. My country? Is AWESOME. I am so full of of \o/. CANADA, you guys. I dig it.
We are going to OWN this. I can feel it.
... On the flip side, I am so sad to hear about Nodar Kumaritashvili. I can't even express it. I saw the video of his run, and had my hands over my mouth. Such an awful thing, and over in fractions of a second. He was twenty-one years old and at his very first Olympics. I can't even imagine how his team and family are feeling.
