Zahra- "Whatcha gonna do?"
Sarah- "Take the scenic route."
Zahra- " You're supposed to say 'Act a fool.'"
Sarah- " Oh...right. Try it again."

I had a wonderful weekend. I'm exhausted by how great it was.

Josh came to visit on Friday. Zahra was here for this visit which was nice. I'm not nearly as fun without her.
The three of us went out for dinner at the Afghan restaurant on State Street. Delicious. We then hit up the Terrace for a couple pitchers and some funk tunes. It was groovy. Josh unfortunately missed out on farmers market and brat fest on Saturday due to a nap attack. Next time, I guess.

I'm not really sure what Zahra and I did Saturday. We tried to get paint but didn't come home with it. the only thing I remember is finding out that there is no Lowe's Hardware in Madison from a Gas Station attendant.

Sunday went to Brat fest for lunch. It was a lot of fun! I got a funnel cake and watched children fall out of their kayaks in a pond.
Then WE PAINTED OUR KITCHEN!!!!

It looks so nice. I can't take my eyes off of it. Our landlords should be paying us for upgrading the place.
After our home improvement session, we watched Capote at 2am and then couldn't sleep because we were afraid we would get shot in the face by a maniac. Scary movies/ movies that mention anything remotely scary can't be watched in this house after dark.

We spent today hanging out with Andy. We made a pilgrimage to Chipoltle out buy East Towne Mall, where coincidentally there is one of the sketchy carnivals going on in the parking lot. Of course we had to ride the bumper cars. Best $4 I've spent all year. When we came back we took a bunch of dumb pictures on photo booth. Check Zahra's facebook album soon for a few laughs. Then we went over to Andy's and watched 21 on his big-ass TV.

Tomorrow my summer classes start. :( Time to get serious.
