I think through this last year and this summer I have done quite a bit of personal growing. So...here's what I have to say
If you want my honest opinion about a sensitive subject and I give it to you
I'm probably not going to feel bad if you don't like what I have to say.
The only exception would probably be if I said it out of anger.
Lucky for me, a lot of the things I really think get said because you think I'm being sarcastic. We both laugh it off...but I know it's true...and hopefully you'll figure it out.
It's good to share personal stories and experiences. It's good to have someone to talk to about everything. It gets old when that person can't talk back to you because you only called to talk about yourself. It's not hard to tell that even if you're trying really hard by starting with small talk, you both know you only called for one reason. And one of you is done listening.
This entry really should have been written a year ago or so...but I've just now got the thoughts organized enough to post. I wouldn't read into this. Only one person that still reads these will actually know what I'm talking about...and the couple of people I am talking about either already know or are too into themselves to ever know.
